The Full Buckle
carrier, sometimes called a soft structured carrier or SSC. The full buckle carrier includes chest straps. The full
buckle carrier has a padded waist band to help distribute the weight of
your child to your hips and waist. The straps for this style are short
straps that have a female buckle piece at the end of each strap that
buckles into a male counterpart that is sewn into the body. The main
benefits of this style are ease of use and very easy learning curve.
They are extremely user friendly for people that are not used to
wearing a child or using a carrier. They are also great for snowy or
rainy weather or places where you might not want to chance dragging
your straps on the ground when you transfer your child in or out of the
carrier.
