Special Orders & Pre-Orders

If there is an item that you are specifically looking for from one of our product lines please contact me by phone or email. I am happy to work with you to get you the baby carrier you need! Many items can be special ordered!

• A 20% non-refundable deposit is required for all special orders and pre-orders.
• The 20% deposit non-refundable, but if you need to cancel the order you will be given store credit for the 20% deposit amount valid up to one year from time the order was placed.
• If the item requested is not available from the manufacturer the 20% deposit is fully refundable.

Layaway

• The layaway time frame is 60 days.
• A 20% deposit is required up front.
• Use code "layaway" during checkout to calculate 20% payment.
• Up to five items may be placed on layaway.
• If a partial payment is made during the layaway time frame the minimum payment amount is $25.
• Layaway may be used with Bargain Barrel items, but an additional 5% discount is available when Bargain Barrel items are paid in full at time of initial checkout.  Use code BARGAIN for the 5% discount.  This code is only valid on Bargain Barrel items.
• The 20% deposit non-refundable.  If you need to cancel an order you will be given store credit for the 20% deposit amount.  This credit is valid up to one year from time layaway was originally established.  Store credit on canceled Bargain Barrel layaway orders is not available.
• Layaway is available for pre-orders and special orders.

• Please include your order number or item description in the comments section when sending payment.
• After payments are received an update on your balance will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
• If at any time you would like an update of your balance please This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to Susan.
• After 60 days if full payment has not been made a reminder notice of remaining balance due will be sent. At times I go through all layaway orders, and send updates of balances. Please consider these updates as a courtesy and not an invoice requiring payment at that time.
• You are welcome to wait the full 60 days to send any additional payment beyond the deposit. If payment is not received within five business days from notice being sent the item will be re-listed in the store, store credit will be issued for the 20% down payment, except Bargain Barrel items, and any payments made above the 20% payment will be refunded.
• If there is a time limited sale on the same item in your order during the layaway time you may pay the sale price for your item if paid in full during the sale time frame.
• If the same item has a permanent price reduction during the layaway time you will pay the lowest price listed at the time of final payment.
• Item will ship within one business day of full payment.

Shipping

• The State of Oregon does not have sales tax. NO SALES TAX is charged to any order, including International shipments.
• At this time the primary method of shipment will be USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) with delivery confirmation.
• Orders totaling $50 or less may be sent via First Class mail.
• International orders (excluding Canada) totaling $50 or more will not be sent via USPS First Class regardless of their size/weight.
• FREE SHIPPING (limited time) for all orders sent within the United States.
• FREE SHIPPING (limited time) via USPS First Class to Canada. If you prefer Priority Shipping and/or Insurance the shipping amounts below will apply. USPS only offers First Class shipping on packages up to four pounds, and does not include insurance. If your order exceeds four pounds or you would like to include insurance the International shipping guidelines below will apply.
• Sweet Pickles will pay up to $10 for International Shipping for orders totaling $75.00 - $249.99 USD, and up to $20 for orders totaling over $250 USD.
• If you choose International Shipping at checkout a charge of $25.00 per item will be added to your order. You will be refunded any charges above and beyond actual fees for shipping within 24 hours of order shipping.
• Sweet Pickles covers the cost for delivery confirmation.
• Sweet Pickles will send verification email with the delivery confirmation number to the customer if requested.
• Insurance is optional and is calculated using USPS rates.
• All in-stock orders will be shipped within one business day of the time payment for the order is confirmed.
• Gift Certificates are issued via email, so there is no shipping charge for gift certificates.

Privacy Policy

• Sweet Pickles will not share or sell any customer information.
• Members of the previously established Sweet Pickles Yahoo group and fans on the Sweet Pickles page on Facebook must be aware that their public profile information, and information they share within these venues is visible by other members of the group. It is strongly encouraged not to share personal identification, including PayPal addresses, phone numbers, home addresses etc. within these venues.

Returns/Exchanges/Refunds

• Sweet Pickles will accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase.
• Any returns or exchanges received after 30 days may be refused.
• Exchanges can only be made for items in stock.
• Gift Certificates are non-refundable.
• Please contact Sweet Pickles via email or phone for all returns and exchange prior to returning the item.
• Item must be returned in new condition including box, instructions, tags and the like. Refunds and exchanges will not be accepted if the item is damaged, ruined or otherwise altered. This includes hand or machine washing or dry cleaning.
• If item is returned or exchanged and is not in new condition Sweet Pickles reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee.
• The customer is responsible for return/exchange shipping fees.
• Please include the original receipt, and a note explaining the reason for returning the item.
• Returns and exchanges will not be accepted without the original receipt.
• Initial shipping charges will not be refunded.
• Refunds are processed once the item is delivered or recovered to Sweet Pickles.
• In the event that you need to exchange an item, Sweet Pickles will ship the replacement free of charge. Limit one free exchange shipment per order.
