About Sweet Pickles

Hi, I'm Susan. I'm the owner of Sweet Pickles. First and foremost I'm a happily married mama to three fantastic and sweet little girls, Sarah, Ellen and Anna.

During 2007 I was fortunate to birth a sweet little girl, Anna. It was quite a journey before her arrival, and she is an absolutely perfect fit to our family. When she was only days old I sat with her on our couch. She was wearing a green pajama outfit. I turned to her and said, "Hello, Anna banana." My daughter, Ellen, replied to me, "Not Anna banana, Mommy, Anna pickle. PICKLE!" The nickname stuck, and when I decided to create Sweet Pickles in March, 2008, it just seemed fitting to name the store after our sweet little pickle.

I was also introduced to baby wearing by a friend in 2007, prior to Anna's birth, and after a year of learning the ins and outs of baby wearing (and becoming totally hooked) I realized this was my passion. I know there is still so much to learn, and so many colors, fabrics and weaves to pet, and I'm so excited to share the baby wearing love through this new adventure, Sweet Pickles. The premise behind Sweet Pickles is to provide a wide variety of great quality baby wearing items at reasonable prices and to provide excellent customer service.
